Working Principle

When assembling the tool, the bushing between the upper and lower knives of the slotting knife must be well matched, and the tolerance fit clearance should be within 0.05mm. Knives made of SKDII are used for low-speed wire machines of 60 m/min, high-speed steel is used for medium-speed wire machines of 80-120 m/min, and tungsten steel is used for high-speed wires higher than 160 m/min. The wear resistance and heating degree of the three materials are different, and the grinding wheels are also different. SKDII and high-speed steel should use CBN grinding wheel, the formula of CBN grinding wheel is also different, tungsten alloy knife should be equipped with Diamond Grinding Wheel, and it is best to set manual sharpening when using, so that the service life of the tool will be longer.
3. The cross-cutting knife is generally inlaid structure, the blade body can be made of 45# steel or A3 material, while the blade is inlaid with 6CrW2Si and W18Cr4V (high speed steel), the blade angle should be 38Ο ~ 48Ο, the knife must be straight and not twisted .
